EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RESIGNATION ANNOUNCEMENT
After four years as Executive Director of ILGA, Renato Sabbadini has tendered his resignation to commence the next chapter of his career.
During his time as ILGA’s Executive Director, Renato has led our transition from Brussels to Geneva, and ILGA to a growing international LGBTI organisation. Renato has also led a dedicated team, each of whom plays an important role in the everyday running of ILGA.
Renato leaves ILGA in a very strong position for future growth and we sincerely thank him for his contributions and leadership during his tenure as Executive Director.
André du Plessis has been appointed as Head of Operations (acting Executive Director) until the recruitment of a new Executive Director takes place. This will ensure continuity and support the transition to a new Executive Director.
The board wishes Renato a successful future as he progresses his career.
